Yes, there are many wedding related websites out there where
you can advertise your business on-line. But
many are state wide and even national and the others
only cater to the Northside of Atlanta, which just leads brides to believe that they cannot find quality
vendor services here on the Southside ... we want to change
all that!
Most other sites don't offer much to the bride
besides massive listings of vendors, which is both hard
to navigate and discouraging to vendors and
brides alike. As a vendor you can only hope that a bride or
two will be looking for your category of service and
that somehow she might pick your listing out of the masses.
As a bride it is just hard to find what you are
looking for.
SouthSideBride.com is
different! Our focus is the "South-Side-Bride"
we are marketing to local brides for local vendors. We have much more to
offer to the bride than just listings of vendors! There
are helpful tips and ideas, wedding planning check lists,
fun facts, local event listings, message boards, and of course, local vendor
listings. We want our site to be one that brides
will want to visit and tell their friends about!
Another step we have taken to keep the site "clean" and easy to navigate for our
visiting brides, is that we will not have distracting banner ads and we have
limited the number of vendors listed to our site to no more than 8 per category.
We have more to offer our vendors too! We
have bridal leads,
affiliate programs and a new
message board where our
members can communicate with local brides
and other local vendors. Our members can
answer brides questions and post info about their services
too! Plus, our
"Gold Listing" members get a bi-monthly marketing
e-newsletter, with tips and articles on how to
better market their own business and website!

All paid members will have the option to submit articles,
planning tips, FAQ's, etc.. related to their category of
service and/or weddings in general. And have the
option to have upcoming events their business may
be sponsoring listed on our "events" page.
And post on our new
message board. (message board is for
local brides
and our active members, all others will be deleted)
We have collected bridal
leads that are emailed to our premium "Gold Listing" members
approximately once a month.
We will send out the website registered bridal
leads to all paid members as they come in. These will only be sent to
the vendors that offer the services the bride has requested
information for.

unless they can provide a high value "trade" such to be determined on a

marketing, we also distribute postcards advertising
the site to local area wedding related shops in the
Southern Crescent. These as well as other
standard mail and email marketing items are sent out
to brides approximately once a month as well.

The marketing focus of this
site is the south-side Atlanta area. Participating
advertisers must provide wedding related services and be
based out of the Henry, Clayton & Fayette County area.
(Some surrounding areas are included, see map above)
We will not promote any vendor outside of this
designated market area. It doesn't matter if you work out of your home or you have an
office or a
storefront, just so long as you have a local
"South-side" place to
meet with the bride ... and just to be clear, we are not talking about
those vendors that will meet the bride anywhere, you must have
at least an office in the "local area".
Whether you choose to travel and/or market to other
areas is up to your company's
discretion but we will only list vendors located in the designated
South-side area
as noted on the map above.
* The following types of businesses/vendors
will NOT be eligible for membership: (a) Those that are solely
Internet based with no local place to meet with a bride.
(b) Any vendor that is based outside of our designated local
area. (see map above)
Even if they will travel and/or go to the bride to
meet with them. (c) Vendors associated with or
exclusive to an "All
inclusive" facility cannot be listed.
Neither will the facilities themselves be able to be
listed. (This rule is in an effort
to keep things fair for our independent vendors.
One of the purposes of this site is to build networking
relationships with local vendors. These 'All
inclusive" facilities do not allow "outside" vendor
services therefore, they cannot offer any networking
opportunities for our vendors. An event facility that has an "in house"
caterer would not be considered "All Inclusive") (d)
Any vendor promoting or offering services in more
than 5 vendor categories. (e)
"Wedding Malls" offering "all your vendors under one
roof" Qualifying local
vendors that might be associated with these "wedding
malls" are welcome to join on their own but we
cannot advertise for the "mall"
(e) If
your company happens to have more than one location, we would only
be able to promote the locations in our designated
"local area" (see map above)
Any vendor that portrays themselves in a false manor
in order be listed will be immediately removed from
the site without notice and all advertising fees
will be retained! As always, feel free to

* Having a business license and liability insurance is
currently not required for membership, though both are HIGHLY recommended.

All photos submitted to us for use within your listing,
and/or for use within the site in general, are strictly
limited to those taken by our
photographers
and/or your own personal snapshots unless you or
your company can provide documentation that you own
the copyright and/or advertising/public display
rights and licensing to said photos. No
Exceptions will be made. Submitting photos to
us attests that you have
complied with these terms and that you hold us harmless
of any violation of any copyright. Basically the
reason for this is that due to copyright laws, we have
to state the credit to the owner/photographer for
the photo and we do not advertise for any
photographers that are not members of our site. Feel free to
contact us if you
have any further questions on this.
* Advertising fees may be paid via, personal or business
check, cashiers check, or money order made payable to
"Southside Bride” We also accept
credit card payments via PayPal. You can use
PayPal even if you don't have a PayPal account!. Email us
for more information on paying your membership dues via
PayPal.
* Once paid and we have all your information, your listing
will up within 24 hours in most cases, and will remain through your
contract period. (whether monthly, or yearly) Once your contract is up, your
listing may be automatically removed without
notice unless you contact us for renewal before your
expiration date. We will attempt to contact you
via an email renewal notification prior to your
expiration date. So be sure to keep your email
information up to date with us! It is ultimately your
responsibility to keep up with your renewal. Upon
sign up, you
will get a "Welcome Letter" via email that further explains your
contract period and renewal options.
* You may request in writing, that your listing be
removed from the site at anytime, however, once your
listing has been posted, all
pre-paid advertising fees are non-refundable.
* Each paid member can submit (original) articles and tips related
to their category of service and/or weddings in general,
to be posted on the site and/or used in our e-newsletter
or other promotional materials. Personal business editorials
will not be posted unless you are a paid "Spotlight
Vendor". All submissions will be reviewed
and we reserve the right to edit content to fit our needs. Submitting such articles and/or tips
irrevocably grants
the right to SouthSideBride.com to use this information
as a whole or in part, on this site, in the
e-newsletter and/or any other print or online promotional materials without further consent.
* Paid members may also submit any events that their
business may be a part of to be posted on the site.
Please note, we will only promote events sponsored
by our active members and/or events that we are a part of!
Events sponsored by outside organizations will not be
posted!
* Paid members can be a part of our
message board
... and online community to communicate with local brides and network with
each other.
* Each paid member will be eligible for a renewal credit
for referring other qualifying vendors to join our site.
The credit is $10 per vendor that pays to join and
mentions your name. There is no cash value if you
choose not to renew, the credit only counts towards your
renewal. (Upgrade or other credits may be considered)
* The site has a place were brides can review vendors.
If a participating vendor receives a negative or complaining review
through the site, the review will not be posted however, that
vendor will be asked to offer the bride some sort of
resolution to her issue. Vendors that receive more
than 3 unresolved complaints in a year may be subject to removal
from the site. In which case, all previously paid advertising fees will be
retained as liquidated damages.
* The “Star
Vendor” program: Vendors that receive 3 or more
positive bride reviews through the website, will
receive "star vendor" status for the duration of
their paid membership.
These vendors will have a star emblem next to their
listing indicating “Star Vendor” status and have a
notation stating "We've been reviewed!" Reviews
will be posted

* Advertising packages, fees and/or terms in general are
subject to change at anytime without notice. Confirmed,
paid contract holds terms and fees for the length
of your contract period up to your renewal.
* Submitting your company for listing on our site
implies that you have read and understand these terms. If you have questions, please
