Want
something a little different? How about a lighted display for your cake table!
And we can't forget about the groom's cake!
Some things to think about ... Check with your
caterer or host site to be sure that there will be
plates provided to serve your cake on; most bakers
do not provide plates. And you also want to
have some sort of decorations for your cake table;
even if it is just scattered rose petals, it makes
for a much nicer presentation than just a table with
a plain old table cloth. Also, ask about a
professional cake server to cut your cake.
Some bakers will offer this service for an
additional fee, you can also
check with your caterer or the reception site to see
if they can do it for you.
Cutting a wedding cake is a bit different than
cutting a regular cake. Remember the old
'Presentation is everything'? You have paid good
money for a beautiful wedding cake, you don't want
to have it mutilated!
