- Get-away Ideas
 Stretch Limo or Vintage Car? Many
couples these days are opting for a "Vintage" car or
limousine for the get-away. A 1960's Roles Royce is a
popular choice. This option sounds great, and it
can be, but be sure you get what you are expecting.
Don't get a Lemon! Check with the owner/driver and
be sure the vehicle is clean, in good shape and in good
running condition. You don't want to end up in a tow-truck on your wedding day! And be
sure there is enough room for both the bride and groom
to sit comfortably, don't forget the bride will be
in a dress which is often difficult to sit in anyway, but
it will be even more so when in a tight cramped space.
Most of all, don't ever rent any car or limo without
seeing it! And maybe even getting a test ride.
Some companies don't own the cars they rent out, they
have to either rent them themselves or
contract out the service from another company. In
this case, you won't see the car until they show up
on the day of your wedding. What if the car is
dirty, or dented, or worse? So
just make sure you are going to get exactly what
they promise you! Make sure you get all the details, the when and where,
what car, who the driver is,
what happens if they are late or don't show up or what
if the car breaks down ... all that stuff.
And get it in writing, get some sort of a signed
agreement or contract!
